Stars own homes, but superstars like Leonardo DiCaprio own islands. In 2005, Leo purchased Blackadore Caye, a 104-acre island in Belize. He has since spent millions of dollars turning it into an eco-resort, likely without needing a loan. While still currently under construction, the resort will host 36 villas and 36 residential homes, which will be priced at upwards of $5 million each. Of course, with Leo’s passion for the environment, the project is, indeed, a green one. Only local materials are used during construction. All structures on the island are solar-powered, while vehicles only use clean energy. Even the food is all-organic and locally produced, and only reusable water bottles will be sold and used on the island.

Petra Stunt - Holmby Hills, California (~ $200 million)

Petra Stunt, model, socialite, and daughter of Bernie Ecclestone, likely did not bat an eyelash when she bought Aaron Spelling’s palatial house aptly called 'The Manor' years ago. With 56,500 square feet of floor space, the luxury estate features 14 bedrooms, 27 bathrooms, its own orchard, and even a bowling alley, making it a great deal for the shrewd Petra. Years later, her investment has paid off as it was relisted for a whopping $200 million. Indeed, if there’s one thing that Petra knows how to do well, it’s growing her bank account.

Harry & Meghan - Windsor, England (Undisclosed Amount)

With a royal baby on the way, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are due to move into their new residence, Frogmore Cottage, in Windsor. If the name sounds familiar, it's because the cottage is situated on the Frogmore Estate, which hosted the couple's wedding dinner in 2018. Because Meghan and Harry are starting a new family, the property has been extensively renovated, with special emphasis on the interiors. The 5-bedroomed house reportedly looks brand new with its fresh coat of vegan and organic paint and it now has a yoga studio for Meghan, who is very health conscious. Sean Connery - Bray, Ireland ( ~ $1.9 million)

Nobody portrayed James Bond in movies quite as well as veteran actor Sean Connery did. Of course, he has done other movies as well, such as The First Great Train Robbery which was shot in Ireland. While shooting the movie, he found himself a beautiful six-bedroomed property called Violet Hill House, which was originally built in 1868! On it's 3.5 acres of land, besides the main residential complex, there is also a one-bedroom staff house, tennis court, matured trees and flower gardens.
